National Adoption Day event showcases artwork by kids seeking permanent homes

For twelve years, Kevin and Cheree Mott tired to conceive a child, but after in vitro fertilization, fertility drugs and timing methods they decided it is time to adopt. “I can’t physically have (children) and I believe every child deserves a home,” said Cheree Mott. “I think everyone deserves to be happy. Other than that, we just love children.”
