• Must be at least 25 years old and a safe, courteous CMV operator
• Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must have at least two (2) years tractor/trailer driving experience
• Must complete pre-employment DOT Physical and Drug Test administered at company authorized site
• No more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years
• No more than one (1) chargeable accident in the past three (3) years (no major accidents)
• No DUIs or Reckless driving convictions within the past five (5) years

OWNER OPERATOR CONSIDERATIONS

• Truck must be ten (10) years old or newer
• Must purchase own apportioned license plate
• Door placards and permits furnished by IMC (no charge)
• Must provide own "bobtail" and collision insurance coverage
• Two (2) day Safety training/orientation program required
• Fuel card program with fuel discounts provided
• $1,500 escrow (in interest bearing account) required (deducted over 10 weeks)
• Must provide the following documents to IMC:
  • original application completed in full by applicant
  • copy of long form DOT physical and Medical Examiner's certificate
  • current annual DOT truck inspection form & truck registration
  • certificate of Non-Trucking use liability insurance
